What is the Support at Home program (Home Care Packages)?
All Luxe Care Home Care Packages in Melbourne and Mornington will now be referred to as the "Support at Home Program" as of November 1st, in line with the recent government reforms. You'll still see "Home Care Packages" referenced here; many people use this term in search and daily conversation.
However, it's essential to note that services and funding structures are now provided under the Support at Home program framework, which we have summarised and made available on our Support at Home page here Luxe Care Support at Home.
Support at Home is the new government-subsidised program designed for people who require assistance to continue living independently and safely at home. If you're familiar with "Home Care Packages", they are now delivered as part of Support at Home. The level of support is still determined by a formal assessment of your care needs and income.
