Many families choose to combine their self-managed NDIS funding with additional privately funded support, so care is never limited by plan hours alone. This is a genuine option for families who want more consistent care, extra hours during a difficult period, or a higher level of one-on-one attention than their current plan provides.

• A family wants the same small team of carers providing both NDIS-funded and privately funded support, for consistency.
