It is Tuesday November 11, 2025. This morning, Australians will pause to remember those who served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping missions. As our nation stops for one minute of silence at the 11th hour of the 11th day of this November, we reflect on the courage and sacrifice of our soldiers, and the peace, their bravery and service secured for future generations.
For Luxe Care, Remembrance Day holds a deeply important meaning. Many of our clients have lived through wartime, supported loved ones who served, or remember the lasting impact those years had on their communities. Taking the time to listen to their memories and sharing their stories helps preserve an important part of Australia’s history. It’s an important reminder that high quality care goes well beyond day-to-day tasks. Caring is also about connection, respect, and valuing a person’s life experiences.
Over the years, Luxe Care’s carers have helped clients attend local services, our directors have attended Anzac Day dawn services to lay wreaths, and we have transported clients to commemorative breakfasts. We know these small acts mean a great deal to those who carry personal memories of the past.
We pay special tribute to our veterans, who wore the uniform and served our country with courage and commitment. Their resilience, strength, and sense of duty will continue to inspire all Australians. Luxe Care honours their contributions and recognises the sacrifices they made, most at a very young age.
We hope you will join us in honouring our brave veterans today, and take a moment to reflect on their service, their sacrifices, and the lasting impact they’ve had on our communities.
Lest we forget.
